Tree of Life Christian Schools (Lewis Center): EdChoice Status & Funding

Where this comes from. School records combine the federal Private School Survey (NCES, 2023-24, with 2021-22 rows for schools that did not respond) with Ohio's state school directory (OEDS) and DEW's 2026-27 non-chartered school list, both retrieved October 28, 2026. "Chartered" means the school appears in OEDS as a chartered nonpublic school, the school type that can enroll EdChoice students; each school also registers as a scholarship provider, so confirm participation with the school. Tuition is not reported to either agency.

Ask about the Ohio Preschool Program, Early Start Columbus and child care subsidy participation

Tree of Life Christian Schools is listed in Ohio's state school directory (OEDS) as a chartered nonpublic school, IRN 019086. That is the school type that can enroll EdChoice and EdChoice Expansion students. For 2026-27 the maximum is $6,166 for grades K-8, paid to the school toward tuition. Schools register separately as scholarship providers, so ask the admissions office whether it is accepting EdChoice students for your child's grade.

Because the school enrolls pre-K, ask whether its preschool takes part in the Ohio Preschool Program, Early Start Columbus or publicly funded child care. EdChoice begins at kindergarten.

Christian schools in the metro commonly offer congregation-member pricing and sibling discounts, and several Central Ohio SGOs, including the Ohio Christian Education Network SGO, fund scholarships at Christian schools.
