Private & church schools in The Hilltop, West Side & Galloway
West of the Scioto along Broad Street and toward Galloway, where Catholic, Methodist and therapeutic schools anchor families who are often inside EdChoice-designated attendance zones. Our directory lists 8 schools here; 7 are on Ohio's chartered list.
Where this comes from. School records combine the federal Private School Survey (NCES, 2023-24, with 2021-22 rows for schools that did not respond) with Ohio's state school directory (OEDS) and DEW's 2026-27 non-chartered school list, both retrieved October 28, 2026. "Chartered" means the school appears in OEDS as a chartered nonpublic school, the school type that can enroll EdChoice students; each school also registers as a scholarship provider, so confirm participation with the school. Tuition is not reported to either agency.
