Diocese of Columbus Tuition Assistance

The Diocese of Columbus distributes donor-funded, need-based tuition assistance to families at its Catholic elementary and high schools, through a FACTS application due March 15.

How do Columbus Catholic school families apply for diocesan tuition assistance?

Families apply online through FACTS every year. Before applying, check with the school whether it is a FACTS contracted or participating school, because that decides which application link to use. The application carries a fee and requires supporting documents, and missing items delay the review.

When is the Diocese of Columbus tuition assistance deadline?

March 15. The student must also be registered at a diocesan school by that date. The diocese tells schools about awards in May, and families hear from their school rather than from the diocese.

How does diocesan aid fit with EdChoice at a Catholic school?

Diocesan schools are chartered, so EdChoice or EdChoice Expansion is typically the first layer. Many parishes and schools also run their own aid with separate forms, and the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund, the diocese's SGO, adds another pool.
